Randomized Security Classification Guide
The authoritative reference for cleared personnel and authorized contractors of the Department of Disorder.
Scope and Applicability
This Guide establishes the procedures by which all departmental disclosures, communications, and ancillary materials shall be assigned a classification level through randomized determination. It applies to all elements of the Department, its contractors, and any individual in possession of a Departmental writing instrument.
Authorized Classification Levels
Eleven (11) classification levels are recognized under this program and distributed across the faces of authorized dice: UNCLASSIFIED (U), CONFIDENTIAL (C), SECRET (S), TOP SECRET (TS), FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY (FOUO), SPECIAL ACCESS PROGRAM (SAP), RELEASABLE (REL), SPECIAL INTELLIGENCE (SI), TALENT KEYHOLE (TK), FOREIGN (FORN), and FIVE EYES VARIANT (FEV). Each die bears six (6) faces drawn from this set. No additional levels may be introduced without amendment to this Guide and the re-engraving of all currently issued equipment.
Procedure
The originator of a document shall place an authorized die upon a level, hard surface, impart sufficient angular momentum, and accept the upward-facing result as the final classification. Re-rolls are prohibited except in the case of off-table results, in which event the procedure is restarted from the beginning.
